How to Schedule Emails?

There are many best email services available, and some of them allow you to schedule emails. A scheduled email will be a message you can send in the future. You need to write the message in advance and schedule the email so that they will not go out unless the day and time you mention. If you are the type of person who writes emails but forgets to send them on time sometimes, and they simply go in your drafts folder for a very long time, sending an email at a specific time in the future is exactly what you need. Or perhaps you have something to say but it is not relevant for some more days. You will simply schedule the message to be sent at the correct time. Most of us can find a benefit for scheduling emails. some of the biggest email providers support the feature of scheduling emails. Some of them are given below.

Schedule Emails on Gmail (Google service)

To Schedule a Gmail message to be sent later is as easier as choosing the Schedule send option.

Step 1

Choose the down arrow next to Send and select Schedule send. You also can do this from any compose box, whether you are forwarding the message, writing a new email, or replying to one.

Step 2

Select one of the suggested times or Pick date and time to customize when the email should send. You can pick any date on the calendar and optionally define the correct time that the email should be sent on that day.

Step 3

Then you will need to press Schedule to send to queue the email for sending. Not-yet-sent emails are stored in the Scheduled folder, which you can access from the left pane under the ‘Sent’ folder. The date the email will be delivered is displayed on the far right. However, you can open the email and read the line at the bottom of the message to view the particular date and time. If you want to cancel a scheduled email, simply open the message from the Scheduled folder and select Cancel send. To cancel multiple scheduled emails at once, select them from the list of scheduled emails and then select the cancel button at the top.

Schedule Emails on Yandex.Mail

The option of delay sending in Yandex.Mail is used to send an email at a later date.

Step 1

When you are writing an email, choose the small clock icon next to Send at the screen bottom.

Step 2

Press the word on the pop-up and then select when the email will be delivered. The drop-down next to the date selector is how you will adjust the time of date that the email will be delivered.

Step 3

Make sure that you have addressed the email, and then press the big yellow send button for scheduling. Yandex.Mail will store scheduled emails in the Outbox folder. You can just open the scheduled email to modify the text in the message. You just need to press the send button when you are done editing and it will return to a similar folder to await being sent. If you want to edit when the scheduled email will be sent, open that specific message and repeat the steps above, choose send again to save the new date and time. If you want to undo the scheduled send so that you can send it right now, just uncheck the box in the pop-up while Step 2 and then simply hit Send.

Schedule Emails on GMX

GMX is another popular email service that allows you to send emails at a particular date and time.

Step 1

Select the clock icon next to Send.

Step 2

Select the 2nd bubble to pick when to send the email. You should use the built-in calendar to choose a day of the week, and then change the time to the right if you need to change the time the email will deliver.

Step 3

Choose OK to save the changes. You will see the scheduled time present next to the clock icon. In GMX, the scheduled email is stored in the Outbox folder where you can modify it at any time before the delivered time. To cancel or change the time the email will be sent, find it in the Outbox folder, select the clock icon, and pick Change sending time.

Schedule Emails with Thunderbird

To send emails on a schedule on an email program such as Thunderbird is really helpful because it does not matter what email service you use; it works for all email services. If you are able to set up an email in Thunderbird, then you can utilize the delayed send feature. Also, you can utilize Thunderbird to schedule Yahoo emails, Outlook.com, or an AOL Mail email and even though none of those websites contain native scheduling support. Thunderbird does not come with a scheduled send feature by default, but you can add it with the Send Later add-on easily.

Step 1: Download the Send Later add-on.

Step 2: Go to Tools and then Add-ons in Thunderbird.

Step 3: Now drag the extension file into the left pane of Thunderbird where it shows Get Add-ons, themes, Extensions, and Plugins.

Step 4: Choose Install now on the installation prompt.

Step 5. Restart Thunderbird be choosing Restart Now or by closing the program and then re-opening it.

Step 6: Write the email you need to send later.

Step 7. Don’t press the normal Send button now, go to File and choose Send Later.

Step 8: Complete the details for when to send the email. You can also schedule the email to be sent on a recurring basis by choosing one of the Recur options and finalizing the values towards the bottom of the prompt.

Step 9: Select Send around “date”.

You can cancel or edit the yet-to-be-sent email in Thunderbird by finding it from the Drafts folder.
